Frequently Asked Questions

 

How soon before I need to move should I start looking for a property?

We advise that you should start looking for a property about 4 to 8weeks before you plan to move.

How long will my application take?

The whole application can usually take up to 2 weeks. Fast track references can shorten this period.

What fees will I have to pay up front?

Once you have decided on the property you wish to proceed with, you will upon application pay for your credit check and administration costs. Once you are accepted for the property, we require a holding desposit to secure the property, this is equivalent to one month's rent plus £100. On the day of commencement of the tenancy, the first month's rent is due and this is required in cleared funds e.g. cash, bankers draft, credit/debit card.

How long is the tenancy for?

All our properties are based on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy for the first 6 or 12 months, thereafter on a roll on month by month basis but this depends on the property, the tenant's and the landlord's requirements.
